Terms and research ethics
The ground rules for what I publish here, and for how you use it.
Content
My words, not my employer's
Everything on this site is my personal writing. Views are my own and don't represent any current or former employer. Nothing here describes an employer's internal systems, tooling, or detection methods.
Writing
How posts are written
Every post starts out with my own outline, article, research, findings and opinions. Claude helps clean up the rest: structure, wording, and the odd spelling or grammar mistake.
Ethics
Research ethics
- All research published here is done on software I wrote myself, open-source software, or systems I'm explicitly authorized to test.
- I don't publish bypasses for live games' security measures or anti-cheat products, and I don't publish detection techniques targeting specific cheat providers.
- If I find a vulnerability and you're reading about it? It's already been sent to the vendor, properly disclosed, and I've been given permission to publish it.
